The materials
we work with
An archive of surfaces,
fibres and folds.
Material is one of the most powerful brand decisions there is. It decides how something feels before anyone reads it. This is a working archive of what we reach for — and why.
-
01Paper
Uncoated, coated, recycled and coloured-through papers. Weight, texture and fibre change how a bag or box feels before anyone reads it.
-
02Fabric
Cotton canvas, twill, denim, jute and blends — chosen for drape, durability and how they take embroidery and print.
-
03Print
Offset, digital, screen and flexo. The method is chosen for the run length, the surface and the colour you need to hold.
-
04Finishes
Debossing, embossing, foils, varnishes and coloured edges — used sparingly, where touch adds meaning.
-
05Structure
Folds, inserts, closures and constructions engineered so the object works as well as it looks.
Also in the archive
Card
Folding boxboard and rigid board for boxes, sleeves and inserts; selected for stiffness, print surface and food contact.
Embroidery
Thread weight, stitch density and backing chosen per fabric so marks stay crisp after repeated washing.
Texture
Felt-marked, laid and vellum surfaces; brushed and washed fabrics. Texture is the first thing a hand reads.
Custom production
When a material doesn’t exist off the shelf we work with mills, converters and makers to develop it.
