A Gultan kraft paper bag, a branded takeaway cup and a two-tone box printed with ‘Good brands travel further’, in warm afternoon light.

The
physical
side of
a brand.

Your brand
has a physical
side.

We design and produce the things people
see, hold, wear, carry and remember.

About

A brand is more
than its logo
and its feed.

It is the box that arrives, the uniform at the counter,
the bag carried home. Those things shape how people
meet and remember a brand. Gultan is a Mumbai studio
that translates your identity into them — and makes them.

Our story

All work

Zila Restaurant

A complete physical identity for a modern Indian restaurant.

The brief
Give a modern Indian restaurant a physical world that says the same thing as its food — from the takeaway box on the doorstep to the apron of the person serving it.
The thinking
One system rather than a list of items. An illustrated architecture in Zila blue and terracotta wraps across the fold, so stacked boxes read as one scene.
The making
Uncoated white board and natural kraft for packaging; heavy cotton twill aprons with the wordmark embroidered, not printed, so it survives daily washing.
The execution
Boxes sized to the menu and tested with real portions; cups, bags, napkins, coasters, cards and staff wear produced as one set.

Why Gultan

A supplier sells you an item.
We make the physical side of your brand.

  1. 01

    Brand thinking before production

We start from your identity and how people meet it, not from a catalogue. Every piece is designed as part of one system, so the box, the uniform and the bag belong together.

  2. 02

    Material and making knowledge

Board, fabric, print and finish are chosen together and sampled by hand, so what works on screen also works in the hand, the kitchen and the wash.

  3. 03

One partner from brief to delivery

Concept, sampling, production and delivery are coordinated in one place, across packaging, wear, carry and custom pieces. One conversation instead of four suppliers.

FAQ

Before you get in touch.

Something else on your mind? Ask us in the enquiry form.

What kinds of projects does Gultan take on?

Packaging, uniforms and apparel, bags and merchandise, and custom pieces such as kits and gifting — for restaurants, cafés, hotels, cloud kitchens and consumer brands.

Can one project cover packaging, apparel and merchandise?

Yes. Many projects span several touchpoints, and we design them as one system so they share materials, colour and finish.

Can we start with just an idea or a rough brief?

Yes. A short description, a few references or your existing brand guidelines are enough to begin. We help shape the brief from there.

Do you make samples before production?

Yes. Sampling is part of the process, so you can hold, test and approve a piece before it is produced.

What are your minimum quantities?

They depend on the item, the material and the print or finishing method. We confirm the minimums for your project in our first reply, before you commit to anything.

How long does a project take?

It depends on the scope and the number of pieces. We share a timeline with our proposal and plan back from the date you need everything in hand.

Do you deliver outside Mumbai?

We are based in Mumbai and work with brands across India. Tell us where you need delivery in your enquiry and we will confirm it.

How do we start?

Send us the enquiry form below with whatever you know so far. We read every enquiry and reply with questions or a time to talk.
